Sweet Baby...

Isn't she the cutest? Yes, I think so!

A cutie and a stinker! This little Bella just learned how to pull herself up in her crib...and anything else she can manage. As much as we love it, there is also a downside. Naps and bedtime have become...well, interesting. Where we once had a sweet baby that would go to sleep without much fuss (she'd fuss and carry on for a bit, but no big deal...if she was tired she'd end up tossing and turning for a bit, then fall asleep).

Now...we have a Bella who immediately upon being put in her crib stands up and holds onto her crib rail! When we leave the room...the crying begins. The full on "I am so upset with you right now!" cry. She finally cries herself to sleep.

It sounds like this is a phase and she'll get through it. Anyone else have this happen and tips they can share?

Oh, yes...I've been there...with more than one child. Stick to your guns and she'll be okay.

My question...what is with the Mariner's hat? LOL! I'm totally just kidding!

Ditto....my son was this way too. I agree...stick with it and she'll adjust. To bad it's so hard on Mom and Dad to listen to it!!

Yup, had this happen...mine did not fall alseep for 3 hours! Good thing we were renting from my inlaws who lived directly down stairs from us. Otherwise I think the neighbors would have called the police. She cried sooooo loud and PITIFUL...the world absolutely coming to an end for this tiny yet enormously LOUD baby. And bang the side of the crib she did. I am surprised it lasted for her 2 brothers to use later on. Thank the good Lord that it only lasted 3 or so nights, but only because we were able to let her scream and not give in to her. My gosh, I think I'll probably have a nightmare about about it tonight, now that I had a flashback, LOL. Some things I definately do not miss.
