Craft Show Display

Here's a quick pic of my display at the craft show I'm in this week. As you can see my focal point this year is the tree with ornaments my mom and I made. They are glass ball ornaments with paper toppers. Hopefully I will get more details posted about those soon.
For this show I have a number of different items for sale:
cards
ornaments
lunch tins (both cardholders and recipe tins)
coasters
journals
kid's color-a-card kits
magnets
snowman boxes
decorated teacups
paint cans (filled with spa items)
The snowman boxes and teacups were made by my mother. She is such a crafty and talented lady! I absolutely love her! I'm so glad that I inherited her knack for craftiness...and love of it too! We have a blast when we're together...we also have our moments of frustration with each other (me probably more than her *wink*). But we love each other and are very close.
I'll try and get a list of my prices and all that good stuff up soon. It's amazing how you realize how precious your time is once you have a child. Suddenly I don't have nearly as much time to surf the web as I once did. Maybe it's more that I prioritize better now than before. I know that someone will be needing my attention and don't want to waste what time I do have, especially when I have things to get done! Hmm...anyway, enough of my rambling and musing to you all.

Your craft table looks great. I have one next week but not as ready as you seem to have been. It's my second, learning as I go. Glad you're on SBS2!

Congratulations on you little one. She is beautiful! I remember bringing my son home from the hospital like it was yesterday, not six and a half years ago.

From the picture you included with this post, it looks like you and your mom were very busy getting ready. I am looking forward to seeing close-ups of your items.

Good luck at your show!

Wow, what an impressive selection of crafts! I'm guessing you worked on a lot of them while you waited for your gorgeous daughter's arrival. I remember bringing my son home from the hospital like it was yesterday, not six and a half years ago. I don't think there is any greater blessing in life than children.

Looking forward to getting to know you via your blog...

Your SBS2 friend,

Lori

Alana,
You certaintly weren't idle during your pregnancy - there must be something to being productive whilst reproducing *wink* I can't get that much done without being a mom! LOL Looks great!

Congradulations on your little one, she is absolutely beautiful!!
How wonderful to know the Lord finds joy in blessing us :) and we find joy in His blessings and praising Him for them.

Well, I'm not going to have a lot to sell that's for sure. The show is at my work, at a university, so mainly I'm using the opportunity to let people know that I am a SU demo, show them the quality of my work, and that I'd be happy to either have them stamp at my home at a stamp class, or host a demo for me. I'd have cards to sell and the catalog but that's pretty much it.

The downside of emails is that we "talk" to people all the time but never really meet. So I'm trying to use this opportunity to show my face and promote my hobby at work.

Wow! What a fabulous spread! That is so nice that you and your mom work together! My mom lives in Alaska and I only get to see her once every year a half! Really nice work! : )

I'm dying to know, how'd the craft fair go? Your display looks great, I'm sure it was a success. I haven't done a craft fair yet but I always like to hear about which items sell the best and how you bundle (or not) your cards. Someday I'll use all that info...
